Having put together my paste-up, I can see which pages will be printed together. In particular pages 7 and 10 will be printed adjacent on the one sheet. To get ready for the print run, I pair up adjacent pages on galleys. Before printing, I shall make any corrections or amendments whilst the type is in the galley, and then check things as the first proofs come off the press.

In the lower page you can see a gap corresponding to a dropped chapter title.
