Tying up the type
With only sixty
copies in the edition, each run was quite short. I generally printed seventy
copies in case of failures when printing the backs of the sheets and also to
allow for the odd sheet that gets creased or inky-fingered subsequently. The
quoins are released, the 2pt leads all removed, and the type block is tied up
and put back into the galley.
Repeat the process forty-five times and
the job is done! |
