Printing an opening - step 2

I have now added the second lino-cut block carefully keeping the inking level the same. The obvious question is: how do I know where to put these two blocks on the opening (two facing pages)? In fact I had to proof everything in the  opposite order: I printed the text first so that I knew where it should be, given that it would be on a fixed grid on the opening. Next I positioned the line-block so that it did not overlap with the text and felt in the right place. I then printed a handful of sheets with just the line-block on and used them when adjusting the positions of the two sections of lino.
