Correcting the forme

I start by taking a few proofs off the type. Those first few impressions help to ensure that all the type is level. I can then take a proof for checking: Is the text right? Are all the letters printing properly? Is everything in the correct place on the page and is all the word and line spacing right? My wife checks the text - one of the things it is easy to forget is the page number which I am correcting here.
