At Contemporary Craft Fair, Bovey Tracety, England, 9-11 June 2006

Our first venture into craft fairs. This has a strong reputation already for quality, so we decided to see how things went ... and they went very well despite the fact that England were playing their first match in the World Cup on the Saturday. The weather was scorching for the entire three days, making it tropical in the marquees.

Bovey Tracey is a small town in Devon on the edge of Dartmoor - not an obvious location but home to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen which has a fine showroom there.
