One of the pastel illustrations from Lowlands Away, a set of ten poems written by Adrian Henri as the libretto for an oratorio of the same name, and illustrated by him.

Adrian Henri wrote the libretto for the oratorio some years before - sadly, his illustrations were done in hospital in the months before he died. Despite his illness, he conveyed great vibrancy in the pastels he managed to finish.
