Our two books on the Daniel Press

We have published two books on the Daniel Press. The first, The Daniel Press in Frome , covers the press in its early days, run as a family affair, printing mostly for the local church in the town of Frome, Somerset. The second, Printing at the Daniel Press, describes a collection of proofs from the Daniel Press in Oxford. Both books are fully illustrated with photographs of the rare materials concerned.

The two books are shown here alongside a copy of Falconer Madan's bibliography, which our two titles have been bound to accompany on the shelf.
